Cool Blue is a Gatorade flavor, which was released in 2003. It replaced the mid-1990s flavor Cool Blue Raspberry.
Before Cool Blue, there was a flavor with a similar name named Cool Blue Raspberry. It is unknown if they're the same product, but it could be deduced that Cool Blue Raspberry is the predecessor of Cool Blue, as the former was discontinued around the time the latter was released. Both of them also share a similar name, same color, and possibly similar flavor.
Cool Blue is a blue raspberry flavor, as proven by its precursor's name, with hints of citrus.[1]
To this day, Cool Blue proves to be one of the more popular flavors from the Gatorade Thirst Quencher line-up.[2]
