Fruit Punch is the third Gatorade flavor to be produced, being made almost 20 years after the first two.
Its flavor is fruit punch. However, its exact flavor components are unknown. Gatorade stated that it's a moderate cherry and orange flavor.[1] Others have said the same thing, cherry and citrus, but have also added pineapple to the speculation.[2]
It is one of the more common flavors of Gatorade, being available in any store that carries Gatorade. A G2 and ZERO variant of this flavor exist. However, the G2 variant has been made hard to find in recent years.
Nevertheless, unlike most G2 flavors, G2 Fruit Punch, along with G2 Glacier Freeze and G2 Grape, are still able to be purchased online, meaning that they aren't discontinued. It is also at Taco Bell, available in fountain form.
